David Steadman is Executive Director of Engagement at the charity Action on Hearing Loss, the working name for the RNID. He leads the charity’s fundraising, marketing and digital operations, to enable the charity to develop technology and treatments, give support and care, and campaign for equal access for people facing deafness, tinnitus and hearing loss.
With a first degree from at Oxford University, an MBA from Cranfield and a background in the technology sector, David’s charity career has encompassed fundraising, marketing and commercial roles at the NSPCC, The Prince's Trust, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and the children’s charity Coram.
David was one of the volunteers originally involved in founding the school, and was Joint Chair of Governors from the opening of the school in 2013 until December 2016. He has two children at Alma and he lives in High Barnet.
