How to Apply
At our school, 50% of the 30 places in each school year will be offered solely on the basis of distance from your home to our site in Whetstone and 50% to families who practice Judaism. Our Admissions Policy can be downloaded from here.
The current national lockdown restrictions may present problems regarding the arrangements, in applying for a faith place, published in our Admissions Policy for the school year September 21-22.
Please click here to view the revised criteria, to be read in conjunction with our Admissions Policy, which sets out how Alma Primary will approve applications made for consideration for a “faith place” in the oversubscription criteria (part 4 of our Admissions Policy).

In order to assist families in meeting the criteria for a faith place application we invite you to ‘Wednesdays with Alma.’
Wednesdays with Alma will take place every Wednesday in November and the first Wednesday in December (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th Nov and 2nd Dec) from 8pm to 9pm.
Each week parents will have the opportunity to learn about different elements of Jewish life and how to create a positive Jewish experience for their children. Topics will include Jewish parenting, celebrating holidays, Jewish books for children and adults, making your home a Jewish space. The sessions will be taught by Jewish educators across the Alma community and the wider Jewish community. All sessions will be on Zoom and in order to meet the criteria under Section 2 part 4, the full hour of all 5 sessions must be completed to meet the criteria for part 4 of our SIF.
If you wish to join the sessions please click here to register. We will confirm receipt and the zoom link will be sent out on the day of the session.
