How to Apply
At our school, 50% of the 30 places in each school year will be offered solely on the basis of distance from your home to our permanent site in Whetstone and 50% to families who practice Judaism. Our Admissions Policy can be downloaded from here.
Applications for Reception for September 2019
If your child was born between 1st September 2014 and 31st August 2015 they will start in Reception in September 2019. Applications for admission to Reception in September 2019 are accepted from 1st September 2018 to 15th January 2019.
In order to apply:
- Everyone applying to Alma Primary must complete a Common Application Form (CAF) which can be accessed from your Local Authority's website. For families that live in London and some surrounding counties, this is through the e-admissions portal.
- You are also requested to complete our Supplementary Information Form (SIF) which you can access here (applications for consideration under our faith criteria cannot be considered without a completed SIF)
If you wish to apply for a place at Alma Primary at any point outside the normal Reception intake this is called an In-Year admission. There are two parts to this application process:
- Everyone should complete the In-Year Application Form which can be accessed from your Local Authority's website.
- You are also requested to complete the In-Year Supplementary Information Form which you can access here or by emailing email@example.com.
