Our school is responding to the ongoing challenges of the Covid19 crisis through ensuring high quality in school provision along with provision of remote learning for children who are unable to be in school while they are self-isolating, as a result of test results or track & trace notification. We have a range of measure in place to ensure our school is safe for children and staff. These include separation into bubbles, including for meals, playtimes, wraparound care etc; employing a member of staff to wipe commonly used surfaces (doorhandles etc); and ensuring seating plans for classes minimise face to face transfer, where this is appropriate. Below is a summary of our revised Risk Assessment, approved by the Governing Body in October, along with the Covid19 appendix for our Safeguarding Policy, which has now been updated.
We are continuing to monitor the situation, responding to guidance from the government, with the aim of keeping as many of our children in school, as much as we are able to within the Government guidelines and financial constraints.
