Consultations on admissions arrangements

Alma Primary is consulting on its admissions arrangements for 2024/25.

The main proposed changes to our admissions policy are:

  • Reduction of time required for pre-school enrolment from 6 to 4 months (4.1.2)
  • Clarification of requirements for participation in events (4.1.4)
  • Clarification of the process for in-year places (5.2 & 6)
  • Clarification that requests to defer entry will not affect an application (7)
  • Addition of appeal note, in accordance with Schools Admissions Appeals Code 2022 (9)
