Becky has always wanted to teach. After completing a degree in Maths and Education at the University of Cambridge she spent some time working in secondary schools as both an LSA and a maths teacher. From there she went to work as an LSA in a primary school where she realised that she could make more of a difference to children’s attitudes towards maths by working with them from an earlier age. She was part of the first cohort to train as primary teachers with a maths specialism at the Institute of Education, where she later completed an MA in Mathematics Education. Becky is our PPA cover teacher and Maths lead.
