Jeanie is Alma’s leader of Jewish learning. She holds an MA in Jewish education from the London School of Jewish Studies and an MS in Multi-Cultural Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to working at Alma, Jeanie was the Head of Cheder at Belsize Square Synagogue. Born and educated in the USA, Jeanie spent a year and half in Israel studying at the Hebrew University.  Jeanie is passionate about Jewish education and strives to connect children to their past through creative and meaningful engagement with Jewish tradition and text.  In her spare time, Jeanie loves growing vegetables, reading and keeping up to date on the latest films.
