The entrance to Alma Primary has become a sea of beautiful red poppies in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day- when World War I came to an end. The children have excelled themselves in their creative and imaginative methods of creating the poppies and they are a wonderful way for our children and visitors to the school to remember the lives that have been lost in all wars.
