We were delighted that Lord Robert Winston was able to visit Alma. Lord Winston spoke to Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 children for over an hour, inviting them to ask him any science related questions... something they did with relish! It was a huge privilege to see the deeply knowledgeable and respectful way in which Lord Winston answered every question that the children threw at him, from diseases and time travel, to DNA and the deep mysteries of the cosmos, Lord Winston helped start our science week with a bang!
