Year 1 have been learning all about fingerprints as part of their body topic! They learned that all our fingerprints are entirely unique, and that nobody in the world has the same as them. They also learned that this helps police to catch criminals. The children searched around the classroom for shiny objects to print their fingers onto, and then printed their own fingerprints and had a look to see if anyone else had similar prints to their own.
