Year 3 have been learning about light and dark. The children thought about different sources of light and how light helps us every day; both natural and artificial. They then carried out an experiment to see which materials were opaque (allowed no light through), transparent (allowed light through) or translucent (partially allowed light through). The children went on to think about what happens when light is blocked.
