Sukkah fun!
Year 3 enjoy lunch in the Alma Sukkah.
Year 3 spent time making beautiful and creative decorations for the Alma sukkah this year. A sukkah is a hut-like structure where people traditionally sleep, eat and socialises during the festival of Sukkot. The sukkah's religious purpose is to commemorate the time the Israelites spent in the wilderness after they were freed from slavery in Egypt.
The children had the opportunity to have their lunch in the sukkah last week, under the open roof and surrounded by their friends.
