As part of our topic lessons, we have been learning about 'Conflict.' This week, we discussed the conflict in Pakistan and life under Taliban rule. We learnt about Malala Yousafzai, a young Pakistani activist who was shot as a result of her protests against the closure of schools. Malala survived the assassination attempt and now speaks all over the world about the importance of the education of girls.
