Safeguarding Our Children Online

Being SMART online

This week, we organised for the NSPCC to run a workshop for our parents/carers about online safety. The workshop took place over zoom to enable more families to attend.

Children and young people have an online presence now more than ever and so we all have an even greater and more significant duty of care to keep our children safe and for our children to know how to keep themselves safe. Every child deserves to feel safe online and we all have a part to play.

Attached to this blog post are the two NSPCC resources that were recommended for our families to read. These provide top tips for staying safe online and other resources that you can seek additional support from. We have also attached the 'SMART' rules, which we teach your children about at school.
